Amplify Church is a Spirit-empowered, Bible-centered, disciple-making church located in the heart of Rochester, New York.

THE BIBLE
We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God and our final authority for faith, doctrine, and life.

GOD
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

JESUS CHRIST
We believe Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man. He was born of a virgin, lived without sin, died on the cross for our sins, physically rose from the dead, ascended to the Father, and will return again.

SALVATION
We believe salvation is God’s gift, received by grace through faith in Jesus Christ—not through human effort or good works. Through repentance and faith, we are forgiven, made new, and reconciled to God.

THE HOLY SPIRIT
We believe the Holy Spirit lives within believers, transforms us into the character of Christ, empowers us for ministry, and equips the Church with spiritual gifts to accomplish the mission of Jesus.
We believe the gifts of the Holy Spirit remain active and available to the Church today.

SANCTIFICATION
We believe following Jesus is transformational. Through Scripture and the work of the Holy Spirit, believers continually grow in holiness and become more like Christ.

THE CHURCH
We believe the Church is the Body of Christ and has been commissioned by Jesus to make disciples of all nations. Every believer has a place in the Body and a role in the mission.

BAPTISM & COMMUNION
We practice water baptism following faith in Jesus Christ and regularly receive the Lord’s Supper in remembrance of Christ’s sacrifice.

HEALING
We believe God still heals. We pray for the sick, trust God’s power, and believe healing is demonstrated throughout the ministry of Jesus and the New Testament Church.

RESURRECTION & ETERNITY
We believe Jesus physically rose from the dead and that there will be a resurrection of both the saved and the lost. Those who belong to Christ will live eternally with God.

THE RETURN OF JESUS
We believe Jesus Christ will physically and visibly return, and His Kingdom will ultimately be established in fullness.
OUR AUTHORITY
THE BIBLE IS OUR FINAL AUTHORITY.
Through Scripture and the work of the Holy Spirit, we continually grow in holiness and become more like Christ.
